Active in commercial real estate brokerage and development since 1986, Mike was instrumental in securing the relocation of Foodbrands America, Inc., the largest Industrial Revenue Bond project in the history of Johnson County, Kansas. Additionally, he was co-developer of Mid America Industrial Park, Deerfield Business Park, the Southgate Retail Center, as well as numerous other commercial, industrial, and retail projects. He was also a co-developer of Prescott Plaza Retail Center, an urban redevelopment project in Kansas City, Kansas. Mike has served as Chairman of the Olathe Economic Development Council and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Olathe Chamber of Commerce. He is also Past President of the Commercial and Investment Division of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, a licensed real estate broker for both Kansas and Missouri, and a member of the Bar in both Kansas and Missouri. With over 34 years experience as a lawyer, developer, and broker, Mike is an expert in property development, financing, management, and investment. Mike offers a solid understanding of zoning, land use issues, municipal incentives such as tax increment financing, and related legal issues.
